Guidelines Updated March 25th, 2009
Matches are typed out to the best of the staff’s efforts. We’re limited on staff writers right now, but I promise that (speaking for myself) That I will do my best to put up the shows typed full. I hope that other staff will help me, but if it comes down to it then I’ll do the job
There is one show per two weeks, and a Supershow every other month. :The biweekly shows are just plain house shows in which we build rivalries, develop your character’s rank, and also just put on a good show. It takes place on the local cable channels so nothing incrediably big time. The Supershows are to be the most hyped matches for that month, most every championship will be defended at these as well as heated feuds. They take place between 6 weeks to 10 weeks. They are to be bigger vengue shows that are brodcasted about the same way as a PPV, but still nothing like the pro leagues use:
You Must sign up or PM a staff member to request a match :Reason being that we want a guarantee that you are available to role play or at least should be. You control the activity of your character and what you do with it… not us. :
Every member has a say in this fed :The staff is just here to enforce rules and keep it organized. Myself and other staff do not own or claim monarchy over this place we all want to equally have fun. If you want a storyline involved in a match then you have to send in a segment YOU or the person/s involved are in charge of keeping it going.:
Suggestions or Efed decisions in Town Hall :Important matters can be posted in the Town hall section. Important ideas are born here and the fed decides what to do with them. Also staff has to post BIG changes to be voted on in this section.:
Money System :We run on a money system as an extra award, why play a superstar if you don’t get paid? This also helps the admins determine ranks and who has been active. More rewards are being thought of as we adapt to using this system. :
Staff may or may not involve you in story lines : If you are in title contention or a champion you might be forced to have a contender that the staff sees fit by the time the supershow rolls around. Also staff have the right to refuse a storyline if they think its not appropriate, but I don’t think we’ll have that problem. We’ll more then likely run things by you before putting them in motion… if you have problems consult me.
Character limits :There are no restrictions on characters, but the concept for this fed is more traditional. If enough people join as fantasy characters then things will branch off. Creativity is always welcome. Also the number of characters a handler various depending on the handler. You’ll be required to show up for a match and show staff some sort of activity on the board. If we don’t see an effort then you’re stuck with the number we allow you…DON’T PESTER US! If you become subordinate or keep nagging about not getting more characters then we won’t consider it plain and simple. If you do have another character then please make another account other wise you wont be accpected. This is to help the graders that don't know who handles which characters. .:
Do NOT use another person's character without that handler's permission. :People are sensitive about this and if complaints are made then you'll be given a warning, so on and so forth if you keep violating this. If there is an RP that is meant as a journal entry then don’t use it… if it’s obvious that it’s public knowledge then go ahead. Be considerate people and ask… it’s not that hard to use your brain.:
:NO Raiding members: If you want to affiliate all you have to do is ask and I'll add you. If members want to join then they will look in that section don't harass them otherwise you'll get an immediate ban from the fed.
:Keep disputes off the boards: NO FLAMMING: Little spout here and there are fine, but don't always act like a 13 yr old. If a dispute on the boards seems to be going out of control in the yes of any mods or staff then the topic will get deleted and you'll be warned. If you keep it up then you get suspended for two weeks.
We have a zero tolerance for airing your dirty laundry, we're all mature or adults so act like it. If you can't play nice then take it somewhere else.
Role Plays-
Role Plays are normally judged on a scale Unless at request of the role players, if it's requested that for a storyline and both parties agree then a match may be "fixed" But for the most part they are all judged by staff or your peers to decided winners.
Deadlines are Monday @ 9pm EST for regular shows and Monday @ 10pmEST for Showdown matches. Easy enough huh?
The role play limit is 2 for regular shows and 3 for supershows.
NO Derogatory Comments! : You have to know when taking a joke to far, if people complain you'll be warned to tone it down...only fair, but second strike and you'll get suspended.
Deleted Floaters : If you don't tell staff what you signed up for or post a profile within a week then your account will get deleted. We don't care if you are here just for out of character chat, but if we don't know why you are here then we'll assume you are a fed raider.
Match sign ups or deleted : You're debut match has to be within a month of you posting a profile unless you talk to staff about it. If you are active in CD's (development area) or the staff knows about your level of activity then no worrying about being deleted for this.
Sign Ups If you sign up for a match and you no show you will be fined this is made clear in the money system we have in place. Don’t bother signing up for a match if you are going to no show.
FYI's:
1: A roster head shot will be made for your character after the staff has seen that you won't flip flop or are being an active member. So about after a week or two depending on your history of if you'll be active or not. Once this is done you'll be moved to the active roster.
2: Civil disputes may NOT be posted on the boards. You have to work things out in private or seek a staff to moderate. If we feel you are going too far and you're acting childish you'll get a warning. (Zero Tolerance, get the picture yet)
3. A warning system the severity based upon what you have done. Once you reach a certain level of warning you'll get suspended. After being suspended twice you're third offense will be banned, if you continue to be a problem then you're IP will be banned.
4. We all hate last minuet role players, so you will get a $150 bonus for each or your rp's before the deadline. We encourage you posting asap so that grades can be accumulated and the results can go up much smoother and quicker.
These are just guidelines and are not set in stone if you have suggestions feel free to ask myself or other staff, these guidelines may change at anytime, but are put here to make this place more relaxed.
Staff Guidlines
To become a staff member you have to either be approached by staff or submit an application or some sort. Saying...
What you want to do as the staff?
Staff Experience?
Sample match (for writing)
Availability to type matches?
You must help out with matches and grading as a regular member for quite awhile before being able to apply. We have to know you are dedicated here at X Nation and not just a power head seeking a person.
If Staff fails to do their job they will get demoted... NO WHINING.
You also must be seen as a person that follows the regular guidelines and not a trouble starter.
Being part of the staff is because you want to be a big help nothing else. Everyone is equal here just because you are staff does not make you better then anyone... just somebody that goes above and beyond to make this a better place for everyone else, and to run efficiently.
